Increased Financial Assistance and New Registration

Good news for men and women across Pakistan! The Government of Pakistan has relaunched the Ehsaas Kafalat Program in 2024, and the financial assistance amount has been increased. Previously, the program provided 8,500 rupees, but now, considering the rising inflation, the amount has been raised to 10,500 rupees.

How to Apply for Ehsaas Kafalat Program

The government has reopened the registration process so that those not yet registered can receive financial aid. To apply, visit your nearest Benazir Income Support Program office. Representatives will assist you with the registration and provide financial assistance.

How to Apply for Ehsaas Kafalat Program

Women beneficiaries of the Ehsaas Kafalat Program will start receiving the new amount of quarterly installments. Eligible women will receive an eligibility message from 8171. If you have not received a message, you can check your CNIC online using the 8171 Web Portal. This tool helps you verify your eligibility and CNIC status.

Financial Assistance Increase

The Government of Pakistan has increased the amount of the September quarterly installment by 25%, keeping in mind the rising inflation. Now, all deserving families in Pakistan will receive 9,000 rupees. Registered families can easily check their financial assistance status.

New Registration Opportunities

How to Register

To register for the Ehsaas Kafalat Program, visit your nearest Benazir office with your National Identity Card. At the office, you will provide your ID card to the staff, who will then issue you an updated survey token. You will be called to the registration room, where an officer will ask a few questions about your social and economic status. Afterward, you will be given a form to fill out. Once completed, the data entry officer will sign the form, and you will receive an eligibility message from 8171.

Required Documents

When visiting the Benazir Office for the National Socio-Economic Registry, you must bring the following documents:

  • National Identity Card
  • Children’s Nadra Bay Form
  • Household gas and electricity bill

Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for the Ehsaas Kafalat Program, you must meet the following criteria:

  • Have a National Identity Card
  • Not have a bank account
  • Not possess a passport
  • No family member should be a government employee
  • Monthly income should be less than 20,000 rupees

Benazir Nashonuma Program

Families benefiting from the Kafalat program can also enroll in the Benazir Nashonuma Program. This program provides free chronic food and better rations to pregnant women and 2,000 rupees per month to children up to two years of age to ensure better nutrition and development. To register, visit the Benazir office.
